Dear colleagues,

although the treatment modalities of maxillofacial deformities offer an ample scope for many different points of view, the object of this workshop is to express the view of this ever
interesting and evolving field in our department.
Since 2005 we provide a yearly based spring-congress on surgical orthodontics. Now we would kindly like to share our experiences in this field with you – basing on a yearly number of more than 250 patients with more than 300 surgical orthodontic corrections every year. As teamwork does not tolerate the inconvenience of distance, we are proud of being able to kindly invite you for this open minded hands-on surgical workshop.

It is our ambition to create an atmosphere of excellence in which we can share and discuss our experiences and would like to present you beside the surgical procedures of monomaxillary and bimaxillary orthognatic corrections a range of cutting edge case documentations. Furthermore we offer discussion on the scope of pre- and postoperative planning.
