34 Aufbereitung chirurgischer Instrumente Proper Maintenance of Surgical Instruments Tratamiento de instrumentos quirúrgicos Retraitement d’instruments chirurgicaux Trattamento dello strumentario chirurgico Allgemeine Hinweise • Instrumente sollen nach dem Gebrauch möglichst schnell mittels Trockenentsorgung der maschinellen Aufbereitung mit Thermodesinfektion zugeführt werden. • Instrumente schonend ablegen und nicht abwerfen. • Gelenkinstrumente in geöffnetem Zustand reinigen. • Siebschalen nicht überladen, Spritzschatten vermeiden. • Nach der maschinellen Aufbereitung Instrumente zunächst abkühlen lassen und pflegen. Anschließend Sauberkeitskontrolle und zweckentsprechende Funktionsprüfung durchführen. • Fleckige und beschädigte Instrumente aussondern und ggf. Sonderbehandlung (z. B. Grundreinigung) zuführen. Gelenkinstrumente nur mit Pflegemitteln auf Basis von medizinischem Weißöl pflegen (MEDICON Sprühöl Nr. 46.00.40). • Instrumente mit Rastensperre vor der Sterilisation nur einen Zahn schließen. • Sterilisierverpackung sachgerecht ausführen, Zubehör und Material nach DIN. Hinweise zur maschinellen Reinigung • Dosierungshinweis für die Reinigungsmittel genau befolgen. • Für Reinigung und Zwischenspülgänge möglichst enthärtetes Wasser, für die letzte Spülung vollentsalztes Wasser verwenden. • Mikrochirurgische Instrumente sollen auf speziellen Racks (Halterungen) arretiert sein. • Starre Endoskope/Optiken nach Herstellerangaben aufbereiten (evtl. eingeschränkte Spülmaschinenbeständigkeit). • Instrumente mit Hohlräumen müssen innen durchströmt werden. Achtung: Fabrikneue Instrumente vor Sterilisation bzw. Gebrauch wie vorstehend reinigen. General notes • After use, surgical instruments should be led immediately to an automated cleaning procedure with thermal disinfection. • Lay down the instruments carefully, don’t throw them. • Clean instruments with box locks/joints in an open position. • Don’t overload the wire baskets, avoid any „spraying shadows“ caused by perforated trays or wire baskets. • After the automated cleaning procedure, the instruments must cool off. After that, control the cleanness and the proper function of the instrument. • Inspect the instruments and pick out those with spots and stains as well as damaged instruments and lead them to a special treatment (e.g. basic cleaning). Treat instruments with box locks only with detergents on the basis of medical white oil (MEDICON spray oil # 46.00.40). • Lock instruments with ratchets only in the first ratchet before sterilization. • Wrap the instruments appropriately before sterilization (accessories and material acc. to DIN). Notes for automated/mechanical cleaning procedures • Follow manufacturer’s specifications for detergents. • Use preferably softened water for cleaning and intermediate rinsing. For the final rinsing demineralized water is recommended. • Microsurgical instruments should be locked within special racks. • Clean and sterilize rigid endoscopes according to the instructions of the manufacturer (possibly limited durability for washing machines). • Instruments with hollow spaces must be cleaned inside. Attention: Brand-new instruments should be cleaned before sterilization and use as described above. Instrucciones generales • Los instrumentos deben ser introducidos rápidamente después de la cirurgía al tratamiento mecánico con termodesinfección. • Los instrumentos deben ser colocados cuidadosamente y no deben ser tirados. • Instrumentos con articulaciones tienen que ser limpiados en el estado abierto. • No sobrecargar las cestillas de esterilización, evitar salpicaduras. • Después del tratamiento mecánico los instrumentos deben ser enfriados y después hay que observarlos. A continuación hay que efectuar el control de limpieza y los controles de funcionamiento correspondientes. • Instrumentos manchados con defectos tienen que ser separados. Estos tienen que ser tratados por ejemplo otra vez bajo una limpieza especial. Instrumentos con articulaciones tienen que ser cuidados con aceite medical (MEDICON aceite spray # 46.00.40). • Instrumentos con cremalleras deben ser cerrados en el primer diente antes de la esterilización. • El empaquetar antes la esterilización debe ser efectuado apropiado y correctamente. Accesorios y material según DIN. Instrucciones para la limpieza mecánica • Observar correctamente las instrucciones de dosificación de los detergentes de limpieza. • Para la limpieza o para enjuagues en intermedio se tiene que utilizar agua ablandada, para el último enjuague hay que utilizar agua totalmente desalada. • Instrumentos para la Microcirugía deben ser situados en estantes especiales. • Endoscopios y ópticas rígidas tienen que ser tratadas según las instrucciones del fabricante (eventualmente apto limitado para lavavajillas). Instrumentos con cavidades tienen que ser enjuagados por dentro. Atención: Instrumentos nuevo de fábrica tienen que ser limpiados antes de la esterilización o antes de la primera utilización como arriba comentado.
