Zurückziehen bzw. “Ausschrauben” des Arbeitskanals unter Sicht, um eventuelle Blutungen aus der paraspinalen Muskulatur zu stillen. Der Blick durch das Operationsmikroskop zeigt, wie sich die Mukelfasern beim Zurückziehen des Arbeitskanals aneinanderlegen. Die Einlage einer Redondrainage ist nicht erforderlich. Der Wundverschluß erfolgt mit Einzelknopfnaht der Fascie und der Subkutis. Adaptieren der Haut mit Hautklebepflaster. Die Abbildung zeigt das kosmetische Ergebnis 3 Monate postoperativ. Protection of the neural structures using the nerve root retractor. Removal of the herniated disk. Removal or “unscrewing“ of the working channel under observation in order to stem any bleeding from the paraspinal musculature. Examination beneath the surgical microscope shows how the muscle fibres overlie each other on retracting the working channel. There is no need to insert a suction tube. The wound is closed by one single suture of the fascia and one for the subcutis. Skin adaptation by a bandaid. The figure illustrates the cosmetic outcome 3 months after surgery.
