Improving Accuracy in Orthognathic Surgery

Dear collegues,

We welcome you to our workshop on maxillofacial surgery, “Advanced Orthognathic Surgery: Enhancing Accuracy, Avoiding Pitfalls.” We look forward to sharing our surgical experiences in the field of orthognathic surgery with you in an open and friendly setting. Since teamwork is not hindered by distance, we are proud to cordially invite you to this open-minded, hands-on surgical workshop. Our goal is to give you the opportunity to follow each step of the entire clinical, laboratory, and surgical procedure:

Patient examination and surgical planning—including reconstruction—will be developed step by step in collaboration with the surgeons. Open discussion and interactive exchange are encouraged! Therefore, we offer discussions on the scope of pre- and postoperative planning. This course is a comprehensive program for oral and maxillofacial surgeons with a special interest in orthognathic surgery.

It will teach you how to:

Enhance your facial and orthodontic planning
Use Treatment Planning Software Like a Pro – Tips and Pitfalls
Perform safe and reproducible BSSO and Le Fort I osteotomies in detail
Manage the mandibular base and zygomatic bones
Plan for asymmetric cases and avoid mistakes using the midsagittal plane
Watch live surgeries
Discuss postoperative management and treatment regimens, TMJ control, and long-term outcomes.
