Spinal Spacer System

Cervicalino

Spinal spreader system with a ‘side load’ function

Cervicalino SL
Spreizersystem für die vordere Halswirbelsäule
  • Side-load-Funktion
  • Röntgentransparente Valven
  • Fusion & Non-Fusion
Cervicalino SL Spreizersystem
Miniaturisierte Ausführung

Verbessert Bewegungsfreiheit im OP-Bereich.

Vereinfachtes Handling

  • Artefaktfreie Darstellung
  • Extradünnes Aluminium
  • Hohe Stabilität

CERVICALINO SL

An overview of design details

Standard vs Cervicalino

Size comparison: a direct comparison between the standard retractor and the Cervicalino SL

Side-load function

Simplified handling when positioning the blades and the retractor

Retaining arm – coupling

Option for attachment to a support arm For safe and stable intraoperative fixation
Langenbeck-Wundhaken
Cervicalino SL
No Langenbeck.

The Cervicalino retractor supports both fusion and motion-preserving surgical techniques:

01

Fusion technology

Anterior cervical decompression and fusion

Anterior cervical vertebral body replacement

02

Non-fusion technique

Anterior disc replacement

Anterior cervical foraminotomy

CERVICALINO SL

Radiolucent aluminium valves

A-Form (All fit)

Miniaturized or anatomically very narrow access

B-Form (Bay)

Minimal pressure on the oesophageal wall whilst offering high stability; it is also radiolucent and, thanks to its ‘side-load’ design, easy to position

C-Form (Corpectomy)

Wide-angle view of the anterior cervical spine for plate osteosynthesis and corpectomies

Bay Valves

Ischämie der Speiseröhre – Bay-Valve17,4 %

  • Artifact-free thanks to ultra-thin aluminum
  • High stability despite the thin material
  • Less tissue spreading is required—a less invasive procedure
  • Cleaning at pH values > is not a problem due to the special anodized coating
  • Minimised pressure on the oesophageal wall with reduced retraction ischaemia, whilst simultaneously exposing the anterior cervical spine for plate osteosynthesis
  • Reduces the pressure exerted on the wall of the oesophagus and minimises ischaemia during retraction
  • Whilst a 12 mm-wide valve causes a 48 per cent reduction in blood flow to the oesophageal wall, the 20 mm-wide ‘Bay’ valve reduces blood flow by only 17.4 per cent.
  • Optimal visualisation of the lateral intervertebral disc space
Good fixation beneath the musculus longus colli

Modular mounting arm

The support arm plays a part in the decision

‘A good stabilising arm accounts for 40 per cent of the success of a miniaturised approach to the spine.’

Prof. Dr Luca Papavero

A flexibly positionable support arm with a tool-free quick-change system and precise ball-joint locking mechanism for stable instrument guidance during the procedure.
